Hello and welcome to Uncork & Drink! I am Matteo and I live in one of the most magical spots on earth: the Amalfi Coast.

It is universally recognized that this land is rich in beauty but also in olive groves, lemon groves and orchards with a variety of fruit trees of all kinds. The quality of the crops of this area has given rise to a myriad of products of excellence, exported all over the world. Among all, the one for which I have a boundless passion is the grape.

The wine varieties growing on the Amalfi Coast are as unique as the landscapes we have. 

Given the vertical position of the vineyards, harvesting grapes in our area is an act of courage, so much so that we talk about “heroic” viticulture.

Despite being geographically close, all areas of the Coast offer a variety of grapes that are very different from each other. Consequently, we have the opportunity to taste different wines  although they belong to the same territory. As an example, only in the Furore area there are 4 native vines:  Fenile, Biancazita, Ripoli e Ginestra.
